i've been listening to
susan mckeown's
blackthorn: irish love songs with great interest today. i really need to listen to some more of her stuff; i first heard of her when i stumbled across this,
her latest album, while looking for recordings of "the lass of aughrim." her rendition is quite good.
Matt...your such a music nerd...I have a mission that only you can even try to solve.
Im looking for perfict Cape Cod summer music that I can listen to at work, any ideas?
PS Im not picky but i tend to like soft rock, jazz and the oldies
This message will exsplode in 2 mintes are you read this!!!
NOT!!!!!
guilty.
i haven't been down there in years, but my cape cod music back in the day was always r.e.m.'s 1987 album document, because one time it was literally the only thing i had to listen to for almost an entire week. i also tend to associate oasis with the cape because i heard "champagne supernova" for the first time on the radio late one night there.
otherwise, ask ashley about the summer mix cd i gave her the other day (song listing with explanations due on the red skies website presently), you may like some of the songs.
